Wo viel Schatten ist, ist auch Licht. Kunst ist eine Form des Widerstands, die auch in den dunkelsten Zeiten fortbesteht und Hoffnung verbreitet.

Agua Viva ist ein Konzert der drei antagon Künstler Lucas Tanajura, Benedikt Müller und Ruben Wielsch, das zu einer musikalischen Reise durch das Brasilien während der letzten Militärdiktatur von 1964 bis 1985 einlädt. Musik entstanden aus Begegnungen verschiedenster Kulturen und Manifestation des Widerstands gegen Sklaverei und Unterdrückung. Musik, die die aktuellen Umstände erkennt und mit Lebensfreude für eine Alternative singt. Ein Konzert das aus dem musikalischen Schatz von Caetano Veloso, Tom Zé, Raúl Seixas und weiteren schöpft, und um eigene Kombinationen und Kompositionen bereichert. Musik deren politischer Hintergrund heute wieder aktueller denn je ist.

Agua Viva is a concert by the three antagon artists Lucas Tanajura, Benedikt Müller and Ruben Wielsch, inviting the audience on a musical journey through Brazil during the last military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985. Music born out of encounters between different cultures and manifestations of resistance against slavery and oppression. Music that recognises the current circumstances and sings for an alternative with joie de vivre. A concert that draws on the musical treasure trove of Caetano Veloso, Tom Zé, Raúl Seixas and others, enriched with its own combinations and compositions. Music whose political background is more relevant today than ever before.
