Kaffee mit Zucker
Aus Kaffeebohnen und Zuckerwatte, aus biografischem Material und zeit-
geschichtlichen Quellen, aus olfaktorischen Eindrücken, Video-Fragmenten
und Live-Musik entsteht eine bildstarke, inhaltlich dichte und sinnliche Insze-
nierung zu den Effekten von Kolonialismus.
Das Spiel mit Kaffee und Zucker in unterschiedlichen Aggregatzuständen
bestimmt das Bühnengeschehen. Von diesen Materialien ausgehend, werden
deutsche Einwanderungsgeschichte in Mittelamerika und bis heute fortle-
bende koloniale Strukturen verhandelt, aber auch der ungebrochene Konsum
zweier Produkte, die aus unserem Lebensgefühl und unserem Alltag nicht mehr
wegzudenken sind.
