body anarchy movement research – Workshop

* THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED

Workshop and participatory site-specific performance in a snowsuit or mud pants.

In our workshop we explore the equality of our body cells in improvisational exercises. We pull and bend each other into different poses as we move symbiotically across the space on the floor.
We are inspired by the idea of interdependent co-existence. It’s about staying connected and experiencing different states through this. From leading, following, surrendering, letting happen, taking and giving, feeling pain and pleasure.
The movement follows less the will, but rather a reaction, an impulse, a coincidence and thus brings the possibility to feel and perceive something new and to dissolve rigid identities.

Following the workshop, we will invite interested participants to take part in our site-specific performance.

The performance will last about 30 minutes. We will move through the city in relation to each other. The movements require slowness and mindfulness and build on what we tried out in the workshop. We will be in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.

We want to lead the workshop and the participatory performance mindfully and talk about consensus and test our limits with preliminary exercises and get to know each other.
