DESCRIPTION:* THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED\nBiosphere/ Biosfera – dance workshop\nThis dance workshop is a prelude to our new EU project SANE, which is aimed in particular at people with experiences of flight and migration. The workshop is open to everyone. Inspired by the physicality of plants and animals, we will start with movement improvisations on the floor. We experience different body states as our perception and movement develop from the floor to floating. No previous dance experience is necessary. Please bring comfortable clothing.\nThis is a two-day workshop. However, it is also possible to take part in just one of the dates.\nWith: Patric Neves Lindström & Héloïse Dell’Ava Photo: Raphaël\nLanguage: English\nAdditional information:\nBiosphere/ Biosfera\nInspired by definitions of biomes, we start with the ground by engaging sensual experiences with time perception, physicality of plants-and-animals with architectural structures. Through these improvisations we experience different body states, as our ways of perceiving and moving from the ground evolve into floating. We observe how compressed air, distance and human relations store energies by bridging neuro-cognitive cranialsacral work with capoeira angola. Releasing more flexibility and space in our minds and bodies. Once we’ve achieved an increased sense of availability, we flow into a journey of contact improvisation and partnering work with periods of weightlessness, blindness and shape shifting. Upon generating these states, we add directions of higher intricacy inspired by the Jooss-Leeder method such as science of qualities and science of spaces.\n \nThe workshops are open to everyone.\n* THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED\nPlease register at workshops@protagon.net. Places are limited!\nYou will then receive more information about the location and participation.\nParticipation is on a donation basis. We recommend 8-20€ per workshop hour.
